Rape Aggression Defense is offered at basic and advanced levels for women's self defense. The classes are taught by Cyndi Ferris, who holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt) in DanZan Ryu Jujitsu. Cyndi has extensive training in many techniques used in a variety of martial arts, and has competed in many local and national tournaments. She received her Shodan (Black Belt) in 1991 and her Nidan in 1994 and continues to advance and train students of DanZan Ryu Jujitsu at the High Sierra Jujitsu School. Her Jujitsu lineage can be traced to the system created by Professor Henry Seishiro Okazaki and taught to Cyndi by Sensei Suki and Professor Herb LaGue of the Bushidokan in Sparks, Nevada.

RAD is a internationally recognized program offering the student powerful results. Cyndi is one of very few people in northern Nevada who are certified to instruct these beneficial programs, which go beyond basic self defense strategies and into empowerment, danger awareness and practical applications when things can go wrong, including stranger awareness, escaping from burning buildings and more.
